MEMPHIS ? Marshall could be only one snap away from a real quarterbacking quandary. When the Herd (4-6, 3-3 Conference USA) plays Memphis (2-8, 1-5) at 8 p.m. Thursday here in the Liberty Bowl, Marshall will have only two quarterbacks at its disposal. That?s because starting quarterback A.J. Graham injured his right shoulder in a 59-17 loss to Tulsa and is scheduled to have surgery on his throwing shoulder on Friday, according to sources with knowledge of the situation. Enter Rakeem Cato as Marshall?s starting quarterback. That isn?t a concern because...

The lawyer for a Las Vegas man arrested in a prosecution aimed at shutting down the three largest Internet poker companies operating in the United States contested bank fraud conspiracy charges Tuesday by saying his client never lied to a bank. Attorney William Cowden made the comment outside court after his client, Chad Elie, pleaded not guilty and was released on $250,000 bail. He said Elie intends to "aggressively defend" charges that he and 10 others conspired to persuade banks to process...[/*][/*][/*][/*][/*]

just a little insight into the game: first off the two schools hate each other to begin with, but to pour gas on the fire ucf coach donnie jones was the marshall head coach for three years prior to this one. he left last year as soon as the season was over, marshall fans think he had a deal worked out the last two weeks of the season in which marshall fell flat on its face barely beating one and badly losing to a second lower division team. people in huntington have been waiting all year for this game, i have never seen them so fired up for any basketball game in over forty years. the game will be the first sellout in at least 20 years. i guarantee you the fans will be absolutly crazy for a win. i had planned to bet the game big, but after the line came out i am backing off. i wish i could give you the winner, but the best i can say is watch the line, and marshall is probably worth a small wager. good luck
